Thank you for taking the time to visit my website! My name is Ben Tanoff and I am the lead assistant men's basketball coach at Ellsworth Community College, located in Iowa Falls, IA (ECC MBB Homepage). Additionally, I am the Head Coach for the Maccabi USA U18 3x3 team. I arrived in Iowa Falls after serving at the Director of Basketball Operations for Presbyterian College.
I have been coaching basketball since I was in the 7th grade. My career began coaching elementary school basketball through the Kalamazoo, MI YMCA. Since then, my coaching journey has taken me all across the country.
I was a high school head coach for three years in South Carolina. My first college coaching position was as GA and JV head coach for men's basketball at the University of Pikeville (NAIA - KY). I served as the assistant coach for Maine Maritime Academy (NCAA DIII) men's basketball. My first DI basketball experience came working as the Director of Recruiting Georgia Tech men's basketball. I specialized in graphics and design. While at Georgia Tech we won the 2021 ACC Tournament qualifying for the NCAA Tournament.
